Crowds Flock to Amurva Bhumi Temple for Lunar New Year Ritual

The rainy weather does not dampen the enthusiasm of Chinese people to pray a happy and lucky new year at the Amurva Bhumi Temple, Jalan Prof DR Satrio, Karet Semanggi, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.

Amurva Bhumi Foundation Founder, Tang Hong Huy said the temple has been opened since 7:30 AM.

He hoped that all other people or religions could be given smoothness in all their affairs.

"Hopefully, the Indonesian government, and especially Jakarta, will also be increasingly prepared to welcome Golden Indonesia in 2045," he hoped.

One of the Chinese people in Mampang Prapatan Sub-district, Edi admitted this year's Lunar New Year is the year of the Wood Snake, which is expected to make Indonesian society wiser and more harmonious.

He appreciated all Amurva Bhumi Temple caretakers as they always provide maximum comfort and service to the worshippers in every celebration.

"The point is that everything is better, more prosperous and society is more harmonious," he stated.
